Meg Bradley

Board of Director Meg BradleyMeg’s roots go very deep in St. Joseph, Missouri, where her family has lived for five generations. The family philosophy was to give back to the community in time as well as money. As stay-at-home mom, Meg became very involved in United Way, the local Art Gallery, Junior League, and various children’s activities, as well as too many volunteer efforts to mention.

She attended the University of Wisconsin, Missouri State University and received her graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. She had a successful private practice in family therapy.

When she married again, she took a seven-year hiatus and sailed around the world, arriving in Stuart in 1994. During this phase of her life, she decided to work at H&R Block and prepared taxes, retiring after 14 years.

Meg currently serves on the United Way Foundation Board of Directors and a former volunteer for AARP preparing taxes for low income people. Of course you can always catch her at the bridge table.

Meg notes,” I would consider it a great honor to serve on this creative and energetic organization. I am always amazed at the vitality.”
