Wilford B. “Will” Brown

Board of Director Wilford B. “Will” BrownWill is a native of Long Island, New York. He moved to Merritt Island, Florida, in 1966 with Grumman Aerospace Corporation as an engineer of the Apollo Lunar Landing project. In 1969 he moved to Hobe Sound as an engineer at the Stuart Grumman facility, retiring in 1988. In 1972 he formed W. B. Brown, Inc., General Contractors, building in Martin, Palm Beach and St. Lucie counties.

Will is past president of the Treasure Coast Builders Association and now has three generations of the family active in the business.

Will has been active in the Martin County Library System and the Hobe Sound Public Library since 1982. He was a founding director and treasurer of the Martin County Library Foundation in 1992.

Will and Nancy have been married 60 years and have 3 children and 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
