Sheila Leach and her husband Bob have lived in Palm City for 12 years coming from New York City. Her working life took her through a variety of careers from education to catering, to insurance and, finally, information technology in the insurance industry.
She is a past member of the Financial Women’s Association of New York and former volunteer coordinator for the Riverside Symphony in New York.
Since moving to Florida she has served as President of the Stuart Branch of the American Association of University Women and served on the board of Florida AAUW. She is current chairing an AAUW group that has adopted a group of seniors in Indiantown and holds semi-annual events for them. She is also an ‘ad hoc’ volunteer for the Council on Aging of Martin County and currently president elect of the Friends of the Blake Library.
Sheila received her BS degree from Kent State University in Ohio and her MS from Fordham University in New York.
