Clayton M. “Tim” Timmons
A native of Michigan, Clayton and his wife have wintered in the Stuart area the past 30 years. Tim holds degrees from the U. of Michigan, Central Michigan University and Wayne University including a degree in Library Science - Multi Media. He served three years in the Air Force as a Bombardier Officer.
Tim was an educator for 31 years and chaired the operation of 18 Elementary Media Centers as well as a District Purchasing and Processing Media Center in suburban Detroit.
Their summer residence is on Mackinac Island, Michigan, where Tim is president of the Star Line Ferry Boat Co. He serves on the Mackinac Island Library Board, the Mayor’s Advisory, the Cemetery Board, Affordable Housing Board and the Mackinac Preservation Committee.
Tim’s hobbies are travel, stained glass, swimming and reading.
